 Spiffing up the Rav4 trying not to feel cross about the dings that I didn't make and will be charged for plus the disposition fee ugh.... no wait ... I'm able to pay my bills, money comes to me, I am lucky, good things are happening whether I know about them or not I manicured that car, endlessly vacuuming out the tiny spear headed Doberman hair well fur actually,  The most damage was done when Rebecca -on her one visit to Portland at Thanksgiving- took my car to get the oil changed. She  was gone for 16 hours, say no more ....well I will in a bit, who, in her madness collected remnants of wood with long sharp nails sticking out from  trash put out in the street and shoved them in the Rav 4 , in her madness imaging this rubbish transforming her space into something from Architectural Digest  as she shoved them in the car gouging and scraping gashes which  are not repairable.She also found a black vinyl futon which she balanced precariously on the roof, l...
It snowed this morning, it looked for a moment as if it should stick, the huge flakes pouring from a bleak and steely grey sky hitting the ground, covering the rooftops and the grass making square and rectangles of whiteness dissected by  Rackham branches, leafless bare and black,  but as I look now its all gone, the snow has vanished... as things do. I sold my Kwan yin statue she was quite beautiful sitting in a meditative position with a calm  smile on her carved wooden face I was sad to see her go but it was the strangest thing, as the buyer picked her up it was if she was turning in towards her and hugging her, it felt quite meaningful, in retrospect I'm not sure if she was relieved to be leaving or sad. Later I got a text a photo of her surrounded by lilies and candles and a text saying Kwan yin is prominently placed on the family altar to be enjoyed and treasured for years to come so I think she found a good home I was quite attached to her tho she was never the sa...
